2024–25 Supercopa De España Femenina
The 2024–25 Supercopa de España Femenina was the sixth edition of the current Supercopa de España Femenina, an annual women's football competition for clubs in the Spanish football league system that were successful in its major competitions in the preceding season. Barcelona were defending champions and won their fifth (fourth consecutive) Supercopa title after defeating Real Madrid 5–0 in the final. It was the first time Real Madrid had reached a Supercopa final, and the first time a Women's Clásico match took place as a competition final. With Real Madrid failing to score against Barcelona, the final also marked two calendar years (since the 2023 Supercopa semi-final) that Real Madrid had gone goalless in Clásicos. The Supercopa de España Femenina or the ''Spanish Women's Super Cup'' is a super cup tournament in Spanish football, contested by the winners and runners up of the Copa de la Reina and the remaining highest ranked teams from the Primera División that had not already qualified through the cup final. History From 1997 to 2000, four editions of the Supercopa were played between the winners of the League and the Copa de la Reina, with San Vicente CFF winning its first edition, Atlético Málaga the second, Eibartarrak FT achieving the third edition and Levante (after absorbing San Vicente) winning the last. The competition was re-instated in December 2019 by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. The 2023–24 Copa de la Reina de Fútbol was the 42nd edition of the Spain, Spanish women's association football national cup organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
