2024–25 Scottish League Two
The 2024–25 Scottish League Two (known as William Hill League Two for sponsorship reasons) was the twelfth season of Scottish League Two, the fourth tier of Scottish football. The season began on 3 August 2024 and concluded on 3 May 2025. Ten teams contested the league: Bonnyrigg Rose, Clyde, East Fife, Edinburgh City, Elgin City, Forfar Athletic, Peterhead, Stirling Albion, Stranraer and The Spartans. Scottish League Two
The Scottish League Two, known as William Hill (bookmaker), William Hill League Two for sponsorship reasons, is the fourth tier of the Scottish Professional Football League, the league competition for men's professional association football, football clubs in Scotland. The Scottish League Two was established in July 2013, after the Scottish Professional Football League was formed by a merger of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League. Since the 2014–15 in Scottish football, 2014–15 season, the bottom team has entered a play-off against the winner of a play-off between the winners of the Highland Football League, Highland and Lowland Football League, Lowland Leagues for a place in the following season's competition. Station Park, Forfar
Station Park is a football ground in Forfar, Angus, Scotland. It is home to Scottish Professional Football League side Forfar Athletic and to Forfar Farmington of the Scottish Women's Premier League. Station Park is one of a number of old-fashioned football grounds left in the Scottish League. It has a capacity of although this has previously been much higher. The record crowd is 10,780 against Rangers in 1970. The total has been reduced for safety reasons. The ground allows access to all four sides of the pitch. There is one large terrace behind the goal at the western end of the ground. Called the "mert end" because a cattle market is just over the wall this area is reserved for visiting supporters when occasion and numbers demand separation of fans. Borough Briggs
Borough Briggs is a football ground in Elgin, Moray, Scotland. This venue is the home ground of Elgin City who currently play in Scottish League Two. Borough Briggs opened on 20 August 1921 when Inverness Citadel were the visitors in a Highland League fixture, which Elgin won 3–0. The first player to score at the ground was City centre-half Willie Raitt after 20 minutes of the first-half at the Lossie Green end, other scorers were Alf Mitchell and Charlie Taylor. The new ground replaced Elgin's temporary ground from 1919 to 1921 at Cooper Park. It has a capacity of ; 478 seated. Methil Power Station
Methil Power Station was a small base load coal slurry-fired power station in the town of Methil, Fife, Scotland. It was situated on the south side of the mouth of the River Leven, where the river enters the Firth of Forth. It was a local landmark, with the chimney visible for some distance. Design The power station consisted of two 30-megawatt (MW) generation units for a peak rating of 57 MWe. It was commissioned in 1965 for the then South of Scotland Electricity Board. Built on the site of a golf course, it was designed to utilise low-grade coal slurry supplied from the washeries of the nearby Fife coalfield. This coal was delivered by road and rail wagons shunted into and out of elevated sidings. Bonnyrigg is a town in Midlothian, Scotland, which is southeast of Edinburgh city centre, between the Rivers North and South Esk. Bayview Stadium
MGM Timber Bayview Stadium, known formerly as New Bayview, is a football stadium in the Scottish town of Methil, Fife. It is home to East Fife. It was opened in 1998, after the club relocated from the original Bayview Park across town. New Douglas Park, also known as ZLX Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland, which serves as the home of Scottish League Two side Clyde, also formerly being home to Scottish League One side Hamilton Academical.
