2024–25 LBA Season
The 2024–25 LBA season was the 103rd season of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA), the men's top tier professional basketball division of the Italian basketball league system. It began on September 29, 2024. Teams Source: Regular season In the regular season, teams play against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format. The matchdays are from 28 September 2024 to 11 May 2025. Points scored in overtime counts toward tiebreakers. Tiebreakers are based on articule 62 of Regolamento Esecutivo Gare. The numbers to the left of each team indicate the team's seeding, the numbers to the right indicate the result of the series including result in bold of the team that won in that series. Lega Basket Serie A
The Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) is a professional men's club (sport), club basketball list of basketball leagues, league that has been organised in Italy since 1920. Serie A is organised by Lega Basket, which is regulated by the Italian Basketball Federation (FIP). It is the highest-tier level of the Italian basketball league system, Italian league system. The LBA plays under rules of basketball#International Rules of Basketball, FIBA rules and currently consists of 16 teams, with the lowest-placed team relegated to the Serie A2 Basket, Serie A2 and replaced by the winner of the play-offs of that tier. S.S.P. Reyer Venezia Mestre, commonly known as Reyer Venezia or simply Reyer, is an Italian professional basketball club that is based in Venice, Veneto. Palasport Roberta Serradimigni, commonly known as PalaSerradimigni, is a multi-use indoor sporting arena that is located in Sassari, Sardinia, Italy. The arena can be used to host basketball, volleyball, and handball games. The current seating capacity of the arena for basketball games is 5,000. History PalaSerradimigni was officially opened in 1981. The arena originally had a seating capacity of 2,500. In 1992, the seating capacity of the arena was increased to 4,532. In 2005, the arena's parquet flooring was updated and replaced. In 2006, the arena was named after Roberta Serradimigni, who died in a car accident at the age of 32, and who is considered to be one of the best basketball players from Sardinia. The 2023–24 LBA season was the 102nd season of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA), the men's top tier professional basketball division of the Italian basketball league system.
