2024–25 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2024–25 ISU Junior Grand Prix was a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union that were held from August 2024 through December 2024. It was the junior-level complement to the 2024–25 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Medals were awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Skaters earned points based on their placement at each event, and the top six in each discipline qualified to compete at the 2024–25 Junior Grand Prix Final in Grenoble, France. Competitions The locations of the JGP events change annually. One event was to be held in Épinal, France, but was withdrawn by the French Federation of Ice Sports and the spot re-allocated to Wuxi, China. Additionally, the Junior Grand Prix Final was originally to be held in Orléans, France, but the French Federation of Ice Sports relocated the event to Grenoble. The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating (titled the ISU Junior Series in the 1997–98 season) is a series of international figure skating competition, junior-level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of single skating, men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The series was inaugurated in 1997 to complement the senior-level ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Skaters earn qualifying points at each Junior Grand Prix event and the six highest-ranking qualifiers meet at the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final, which is held concurrently with the Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final. is a Japanese figure skating, figure skater. He is a two-time ISU Junior Grand Prix medalist, the 2024–25 Japan Junior Figure Skating Championships, Japanese Junior national silver medalist, and the 2022–23 Japan Figure Skating Championships, Japanese Advanced Novice national champion. 2024 World Junior Figure Skating Championships
The 2024 World Junior Figure Skating Championships were held from February 26 to March 3, 2024, at the Taipei Arena in Taipei, Taiwan. The competition determined the entry quotas for each skating federation at the 2025 World Junior Championships. Medals were awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Qualification Age and minimum TES requirements Skaters were eligible for the 2024 World Junior Championships if they turned 13 years of age before July 1, 2023, and if they have not yet turned 19 (singles and females of the other two disciplines) or 21 (male pair skaters and ice dancers).
