2024–25 FIS Snowboard World Cup
The 2024–25 FIS Snowboard World Cup, organized by the International Ski Federation (FIS), was the 31st World Cup in snowboarding for men and women. The season started on 2 September 2024 in Cardrona, New Zealand and concluded on 6 April 2025 in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Canada. Maurizio Bormolini
Maurizio Bormolini (born 24 February 1994) is an Italian snowboarder specializing in parallel slalom and parallel giant slalom disciplines. Career During the 2024–25 FIS Snowboard World Cup, Bormolini won the parallel giant slalom with 692 points, and the men's parallel overall crystal globe with 910 points. He had a career-best eight podiums during the World Cup. Cardrona, New Zealand
Cardrona is a locality in the Cardrona Valley in New Zealand, with the nearby skifield of Cardrona Alpine Resort and Mount Cardrona also using the same name. Established as a gold rush township in the 1860s on the banks of the small river of the same name, it is known for its distinctive hotel of gold rush vintage which is on the opposite side of the river to the original township of which few buildings remain. It is in a scenic setting on the Crown Range road which connects Wānaka and Queenstown. Recent developments include expanded facilities for guest accommodation at Benbrae Resort, recreational facilities, a distillery, and a 400-house suburb. Erzurum

Rogla
Rogla () is a peak on Zreče Pohorje () in the Municipality of Zreče in northeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. Name Rogla was attested in written sources in 1763–87 as ''Vitenska Planina'' and ''Wittenska Planina''. The Slovene name ''Rogla'' is derived from the Slovene common noun ''rogla'' 'forked tree-covered mountain ridge', referring to the local topography. Bansko
Bansko ( ) is a town in southwestern Bulgaria, located in Blagoevgrad Oblast near the city of Razlog. The Karerpass (; ; ) (1745 m) is a high mountain pass in the province of South Tyrol in Italy. It connects Bolzano through the Eggental and the Welschnofen Valley with the Fassa Valley. Big Air
Big air is a high-injury-risk sports discipline where the competitor rides a vehicle, such as a motocross motorcycle, a skateboard, a snowboard, or a pair of skis, down a hill or ramp and performs aerial tricks after launching off very large jumps. In most versions, there is one large jump and therefore only one opportunity to perform a trick. It is an extreme version of slopestyle. Competitors perform complex tricks in the air, aiming to attain sizable height and distance as well, all while making every effort to secure a clean landing. Many competitions also require the rider to do a specific trick to win the major prize. The term was coined by French-Canadians because of their love for the extreme nature of the event. Slopestyle
Slopestyle is a winter sport in which athletes skiing, ski or snowboard down a course including a variety of obstacles including rails, jumps and other terrain park features. Points are scored for amplitude, originality and quality of tricks. The discipline has its roots in action sports like skateboarding and BMX and has very successfully crossed over into the snow sports worlds of skiing and snowboarding. Skiers use Twin-tip skis for their symmetry since they often go large portions of the course backward (referred to as "switch") and for their balanced weight so as to not destabilize spins. Slopestyle tricks fall mainly into four categories: spins, Grind (sport), grinds, grabs and Flip (acrobatic), flips, and most tricks done in competition are a combination of these.
