2024–25 FC Spartak Moscow Season
The 2024–25 season was the 103rd season in the history of FC Spartak Moscow, and the club's 33rd consecutive season in the Russian top division. In addition to the domestic league, the team participated in the Russian Cup. Season events On 16 May 2024, Spartak announced the end of Vladimir Slišković's role as Caretaker Head Coach, with Dejan Stanković being appointed as their new Head Coach on a two-year contract. Dejan Stanković
Dejan Stanković ( sr-Cyrl, Дејан Станковић, , born 11 September 1978) is a Serbian professional football manager and former player. He captained the Serbia national team from 2007 until 2011, when he announced his retirement from international football. He is the manager of Russian team Spartak Moscow. Stanković began his career at Red Star Belgrade before joining Lazio in 1998. He spent more than five years with the latter club before joining Inter Milan, where he remained until his retirement in 2013. Stanković is the only man to represent three differently named nations at FIFA World Cups – Yugoslavia, Serbia and Montenegro and Serbia. Marcos Aoás Corrêa (born 14 May 1994), better known as Marquinhos (), is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back and captains both club Paris Saint-Germain and the Brazil national team. He is considered one of the best centre-backs in the world. Marquinhos began his career at Corinthians, and after winning the 2012 Copa Libertadores he moved to Roma for an eventual fee of €3 million. Alexis David Duarte Pereira (born 12 March 2000) is a Paraguayan professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Russian Premier League club Spartak Moscow. Aleksandr Vladimirovich Maksimenko (; born 19 March 1998) is a Russian football player who plays for Spartak Moscow and the Russia national team.
