2024 Women's Masters Basel
The 2024 Women's Masters Basel was held from September 20 to 22 at the Curlingzentrum Region Basel in Arlesheim, Switzerland. The event was held in a round robin format with a purse of 35,000 CHF. It was the first time the event is not held as part of the World Curling Tour. Arlesheim
Arlesheim is a town and a municipality in the district of Arlesheim in the canton of Basel-Country in Switzerland. Its cathedral chapter seat, bishop's residence and cathedral (1681 / 1761) are listed as a heritage site of national significance. Mathilde Emma Halse (born 2 May 1999) is a Danish curler from Copenhagen. She competed in the 2018 Winter Olympics and 2022 Winter Olympics. She currently plays third on the Danish National Women's Curling Team skipped by Madeleine Dupont. Career She started curling in 2014. Before that she was a figure skater. Halse became the skip of the Danish National Junior Women's Curling Team in 2019, where she skipped the team at the 2019 World Junior-B Curling Championships (January). They lost in the quarterfinals and would not qualify for the World Juniors. Madeleine Dupont
Madeleine Kanstrup Dupont (born 26 May 1987 in Glostrup, Denmark) is a Danish curler from Copenhagen. She won the Frances Brodie Award in 2004. She currently skips her own team with teammates Mathilde Halse, Jasmin Holtermann, My Larsen, and Denise Dupont (Madeleine's sister). Dupont has competed in three Olympic Games and 14 World Championships, winning medals at the 2007 World Women's Curling Championship (silver) and the 2009 World Women's Curling Championship (bronze). Stefania Constantini (born 15 April 1999) is an Italian curler from Cortina d'Ampezzo. She currently skips the Italian National Women's Curling Team. She has played in five World Women's Championships, four World Mixed Doubles Championships and seven European Championships.
