The 2024 Winter Youth Olympics medal table is a list of National Olympic Committees (NOCs) ranked by the number of gold medals won by their athletes during the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics, held in Gangwon, South Korea, from 19 January to 1 February 2024. Accomplishments A total of five countries won their first ever Winter Youth Olympics medal: Brazil, Denmark, Thailand, Tunisia and Turkey. 2024 Winter Youth Olympics
The 2024 Winter Youth Olympics ( ko, 2024년 동계 청소년 올림픽, 2024nyeon Donggye Cheongsonyeon Ollimpik), officially known as the IV Winter Youth Olympic Games and commonly known as Gangwon 2024 ( ko, 강원 2024), are an upcoming youth winter multi-sport event scheduled to be held between 19 January and 2 February 2024 in Gangwon Province, South Korea. The IOC's Future Host Commission named Gangwom as its preferred candidate for the Games, and entered into targeted dialogue with the region under the new Olympic bid process. Their hosting was ratified at the 135th IOC Session in Lausanne, Switzerland, on 10 January 2020. The events will be hosted at sites in Gangneung and Pyeongchang County, which previously hosted the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. Agnese Campeol (born 11 August 2006) is an Italian-born Thai bobsledder who began competing for the national team in 2023 and won the silver medal in the women's monobob event at the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics, becoming the first Thai athlete to win a medal at the Winter Youth Olympics or Winter Olympics. Early life Campeol was born on August 11, 2006 in Turin, Italy. She has moved to Thailand since she was 5 years old. The 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games (german: Olympische Jugend-Winterspiele 2012), officially known as the I Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG), were an international multi-sport event for youths that took place in Innsbruck, Austria, on 13–22 January 2012.
