2024 UEC European Cyclo-cross Championships
The 2024 UEC European Cyclo-cross Championships were held on 2 and 3 November 2024 in Pontevedra, Spain. Results Women Elite The Elite Women race took place on Sunday 3 November 2024 in 7 laps over a total distance of 23.25 km. Under 23 The Under 23 Women race took place on Sunday 3 November 2024 in 6 laps over a total distance of 19.95 km. Junior The Junior Women race took place on Sunday 3 November 2024 in 5 laps over a total distance of 16.65 km. Men Elite The Elite Men race took place on Sunday 3 November 2024 in 9 laps over a total distance of 29.85 km. UEC European Cyclo-cross Championships
The European Cyclo-cross Championships are organised by the Union Européenne de Cyclisme and crown the recognised European champions in the cycling discipline of cyclo-cross. They have been held since 2003 in November, towards the start of the cyclo-cross season. Events are held for men and women, in junior, under-23 and elite classes. A seventh medal event, a mixed relay, was introduced in 2023. Locations Palmarès The full set of medalists in each race are set out below. Women Elite women Held since 2003, the most successful rider in the women's elite event is the Netherlands' Daphny van den Brand with four titles, followed by Hanka Kupfernagel of Germany, Sanne Cant of Belgium and Fem van Empel from the Netherlands with three each. Viktória Chladoňová (born 15 November 2006) is a Slovakian cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . She won the cross-country race at the UCI Junior Mountain Bike World Championships and was runner-up in the Junior World Championships time trial in 2024. Biography Viktória Chladoňová was born on 15 November 2006 in the village of Soblahov, in the Trenčín District. She started with cycling at the age of ten. Fleur Moors (born 11 October 2005) is a Belgian cyclist. In 2023, she won the junior road race at the European Championships and the Belgian junior title in cyclo-cross, and finished 3rd in the junior road race at the World Championships.
