2024 UCF Knights Football Team
The 2024 UCF Knights football team represents the University of Central Florida (UCF) as a member of the Big 12 Conference during the 2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They are led by Gus Malzahn in his 4th year as their head coach. The Knights play their home games at FBC Mortgage Stadium located in Orlando, Florida. Big 12 Conference
The Big 12 Conference is a college athletic conference headquartered in Irving, Texas, USA. It consists of ten full-member universities. It is a member of Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) for all sports. Its football teams compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS; formerly Division I-A), the higher of two levels of NCAA Division I football competition. The Louisville Cardinals football team represents the University of Louisville in the sport of American football. The Cardinals compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference. History Early history (1912–1924) The University of Louisville began playing football in 1912 where the Cardinals went 3–1. Louisville had played several years at club level and teams were mostly composed with medical students. Samford Bulldogs Football
The Samford Bulldogs football program is the intercollegiate American football team for Samford University located in Homewood, Alabama. The team competes at the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) level as a member of the Southern Conference (SoCon). Samford's first football team was fielded in 1902. The team was known as the Howard Bulldogs through the 1965 season when Howard College was renamed as Samford University. Howard was located in Birmingham, Alabama prior to 1957. Idaho Vandals Football
The Idaho Vandals are the college football team that represents the University of Idaho and plays its home games at the Kibbie Dome, an indoor facility on campus in Moscow, Idaho. The East Carolina Pirates are a college football team that represents East Carolina University (variously "East Carolina" or "ECU"). Kenneth Dewayne "KJ" Jefferson Jr. (born May 20, 2001) is an American football quarterback for the Arkansas Razorbacks. High school career Jefferson attended North Panola High School in Sardis, Mississippi. He finished his high school career with 9,582 passing yards, 2,922 rushing yards and 143 total touchdowns. A four-star prospect, he committed to play college football at the University of Arkansas. College career Jefferson spent his true freshman year at Arkansas in 2019 as a backup to Nick Starkel. He made his first career start against the LSU Tigers. For the season he completed 14 of 31 passes for 197 yards with one interception and also rushed for two touchdowns.
