2024 The Loop 110
The 2024 The Loop 110 was the 18th stock car race of the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series, and the 2nd iteration of the event. The race was held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Chicago Street Course in Chicago, Illinois, a street course. The race took the scheduled 50 laps to complete. Shane van Gisbergen, driving for Kaulig Racing, would continue to show his dominance on road courses, passing the leader Jesse Love with under five laps to go, and holding off the rest of the field to earn his third career NASCAR Xfinity Series win, his third of the season, and his third consecutive win on a road course. The early stages of the race saw Gisbergen and Kyle Larson in an intense battle for the lead, and eventually led to Gisbergen winning the first stage. A street circuit is a motorsport race track, racing circuit composed of temporarily closed-off public roads of a city, town or village, used in motor racing, motor races. Airport Runway, runways and Taxiway, taxiways are also sometimes part of street circuits. Grant Park is a large urban park in the Loop community area of Chicago, Illinois. Buckingham Fountain
Buckingham Fountain is a Chicago Landmark in the center of Grant Park, between Queen's Landing and the end of Ida B. Wells Drive. Dedicated in 1927 and donated to the city by philanthropist Kate S. 2021 ENASCAR IRacing Pro Invitational Series
The 2021 eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series was the second and final season of the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series, a series of ''iRacing'' sim racing events originally organized for NASCAR drivers to compete in after its 2020 seasons were put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After the success of the series, NASCAR decided to bring it back on a more permanent basis in 2021, although this time, the races, 10 in total, would be held on Wednesday nights at least once a month. Additionally, ''Fox'', which broadcast all of the races in the series in 2020, would be joined by ''NBC'', the other channel that broadcasts real-life NASCAR races, this season, with each channel airing five races apiece. ENASCAR IRacing Pro Invitational Series
eNASCAR was launched in 2018, by the parent company, NASCAR, to act as the Esports arm of the auto-racing body. The organization primarily uses the '' iRacing'' game via a PC platform for organizing its competitions, but has previously used other systems, such as those created by Xbox and PlayStation, and other games.
