2024 Stockholm International Film Festival
The 35th Stockholm International Film Festival took place from 6 to 17 November 2024 in Stockholm, Sweden. Sean Baker's drama film '' Anora'' opened the festival. Historical drama film '' Nickel Boys'' won the main award of the festival, Bronze Horse. Greek-French director Costa-Gavras was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Klaudia Reynicke is a Swiss-Peruvian filmmaker. Early life and education Reynicke was born in Lima, where she lived until age ten. She spent much of her early life in Switzerland and Florida. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida, where she studied visual arts and anthropology, and a master's degree in sociology from the University of Lausanne.
