2024 Stockholm International Film Festival
The 35th Stockholm International Film Festival took place from 6 to 17 November 2024 in Stockholm, Sweden. Sean Baker's drama film '' Anora'' opened the festival. Historical drama film '' Nickel Boys'' won the main award of the festival, Bronze Horse. Greek-French director Costa-Gavras was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Fabian Stumm (born in 1981) is a German actor and director who studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City. He played a leading role in the 2013 mystery thriller ''Bela Kiss: Prologue'' by Lucien Förstner, and appeared in the award-winning Second World War drama ''Lore'' by Australian director Cate Shortland. Klaudia Reynicke
Klaudia Reynicke is a Swiss-Peruvian filmmaker. Early life and education Reynicke was born in Lima, where she lived until age ten. She spent much of her early life in Switzerland and Florida. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida, where she studied visual arts and anthropology, and a master's degree in sociology from the University of Lausanne. In 2005, Reynicke studied film at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts. She later completed a master's degree in film studies through a joint program from École cantonale d'art de Lausanne and Geneva University of Art and Design. Career While a senior at Aoyama Gakuin University, Okuyama wrote, directed, and served as cinematographer and editor on the feature film ''Jesus'', which depicts Jesus Christ as the imaginary friend of a grade schooler.
