2024 Spa-Francorchamps Formula 2 Round
The 2024 Spa-Francorchamps Formula 2 round was a motor racing event held between 26 and 28 July 2024 at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Stavelot, Belgium. It was the tenth round of the 2024 Formula 2 Championship and was held in support of the 2024 Belgian Grand Prix. Classification Qualifying Notes: * – Paul Aron was handed two separate five-place grid penalties for the sprint race for forcing another driver off the track and for causing a collision at the previous round. * – Victor Martins could not set a meaningful laptime due to a mechanical failure. The stewards permitted him to start both races from the last position on the grid. Circuit De Spa-Francorchamps
The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (), frequently referred to as ''Spa'', is a motor-racing circuit located in Stavelot, Belgium. It is the current venue of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix, hosting its first Grand Prix in 1925, and has held a Grand Prix every year since 1985 (except 2003 and 2006). Spa also hosts several other international events including the 24 Hours of Spa, the World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. It is also home to the Uniroyal Fun Cup 25 Hours of Spa, one of the longest motor races in the world. The circuit has undergone several redesigns through its history, most extensively in 1979 when the track was modified and shortened from a circuit using public roads to a permanent circuit due to safety concerns with the old circuit. 2024 Formula 2 Championship
The 2024 FIA Formula 2 Championship is a planned motor racing championship for Formula Two, Formula 2 cars that is sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The championship will be the fifty-eighth season of Formula 2 racing and the eighth season run under the FIA Formula 2 Championship moniker. It is an open-wheel racing category that serves as the second tier of formula racing in the FIA Global Pathway. The category will be run in support of selected rounds of the 2024 Formula One World Championship. As the championship is a spec series, all teams and drivers that compete in the championship will run the same car. 2024 will see the debut of a new chassis and engine package. (born August 10, 1999) is a Japanese racing driver currently competing in Super Formula for Kuo Vantelin Team TOM'S and Super GT for TGR Team WedsSport Bandoh. He is a 2 time Japanese F4 champion and the 2020 Super Formula Lights champion. Early and personal life Miyata is a graduate of Yokohama High School. His name comes from the Fiat Ritmo, named as such by his parents as they were car enthusiasts. Oliver Bearman (born 8 May 2005) is a British racing driver. He was the 2021 Italian and ADAC Formula 4 champion and is a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy.
