The 2024 Rose Bowl was a college football bowl game played on January 1, 2024, at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The 110th annual Rose Bowl was one of the semifinals of the 2023–24 College Football Playoff (CFP) and featured two of the four teams selected by the CFP Selection Committee—the fourth-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide of the SEC and the first-ranked Michigan Wolverines of the Big Ten. Michigan won the game 27–20, shortly after Blake Corum's 17-yard touchdown run in overtime, and stopping Alabama on downs. Michigan advanced to face the winner of the Sugar Bowl, the Washington Huskies, in the CFP National Championship game on January 8. The College Football Playoff (CFP) is an annual postseason knockout invitational tournament to determine a national champion for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), the highest level of college football competition in the United States. Quint Elroy Kessenich ( ; born November 22, 1967) is an American sportscaster for ABC and ESPN television covering lacrosse, basketball, football, hockey, wrestling and horse racing since 1993. He is a former All-American lacrosse goalkeeper. He attended the Johns Hopkins University from 1987 to 1990, where he was a two-time winner of the Ensign C. Dusty Dvoracek (born March 3, 1983) is a former American football nose guard.
