2024 Queensland Cup
The 2024 Queensland Cup season was the 29th season of Queensland's top-level statewide rugby league competition run by the Queensland Rugby League. The competition, known as the Hostplus Cup due to sponsorship, features 15 teams playing a 27-week long season (including finals) from March to September. Norths Devils won the Grand Final 34–20 against the Redcliffe Dolphins, after the Dolphins had eliminated minor premiers Northern Pride in the preliminary final. Teams In 2024, the line-up of teams was unchanged from the 2023 season. There were a number of affiliation changes during 2023. The Burleigh Bears switched to the Broncos, while the Ipswich Jets joined the Titans. Norths Devils
The Northern Suburbs Devils, or North Brisbane Devils, or often simply referred to as Norths for short, are a rugby league club representing the northern suburbs of Brisbane, Australia. The team colours are sky blue, navy blue and gold. They play in the Queensland Cup, Hostplus Cup, and, through their predecessors, are one of the oldest clubs in Australia. The Burleigh Bears are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in Gold Coast, Australia. They compete in Queensland's top rugby league competition, the Queensland Cup. North Ipswich Reserve, known as Qld Group Stadium or commercially Bendigo Bank Oval, is a sports venue in Ipswich, Queensland. Originally an Australian rules football (and later cricket) oval, it became a primarily rugby league venue in the 1920s as that code experienced an explosion in local popularity. It is currently home to the Ipswich Jets, who play in the Queensland Wizard Cup. The Ipswich Jets are an Australian rugby league football club based in Ipswich, Queensland. Their name comes from nearby RAAF Base Amberley, one of the largest airbases in Australia. The Dolphins are a professional rugby league football team, based in the Redcliffe Peninsula area of the City of Moreton Bay (which is part of the greater Brisbane area of South East Queensland, South East Queensland), that competes in the Australian National Rugby League (NRL). Browne Park is a rectangular football stadium located in the Rockhampton suburb of Wandal, Queensland, Australia.
