2024 Paris–Roubaix Femmes
The 2024 Paris–Roubaix Femmes (officially Paris–Roubaix Femmes avec Zwift) was a France, French Road bicycle racing, road cycling one-day race that took place on 6 April. It was the 4th edition of Paris–Roubaix Femmes and the 11th event of the 2024 UCI Women's World Tour. Held in unseasonably warm weather, the race was won by Belgian rider Lotte Kopecky of in a sprint finish, with Kopecky also retaining her lead in the UCI Women's World Tour standings. The overall average speed for the race was 39.12 kilometres per hour (24.31 mph). Route Starting in Denain, the race finished on the velodrome in Roubaix after covering , with of cobblestones, spread out over 17 sectors – including the famed Carrefour de l'Arbre and the Mons-en-Pévèle – both ranked at "five stars" in difficulty. 2024 UCI Women's World Tour
The 2024 UCI Women's World Tour was a competition that included twenty-seven road bicycle racing, road cycling events throughout the 2024 in women's road cycling, 2024 women's cycling season. It was be the ninth edition of the UCI Women's World Tour, the ranking system launched by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in 2016. The competition began with the 2024 Women's Tour Down Under, Women's Tour Down Under from 12 to 14 January, and finished with the Tour of Guangxi on 20 October. Belgian rider Lotte Kopecky () won the individual classification with 4596 points, after a close battle with her teammate Demi Vollering throughout the season. The Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO and also A.S.O.) is a private company, founded in 1992, that is part of the privately-owned French media group Éditions Philippe Amaury (EPA). 2024 In French Women's Sport
4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign. Kim Le Court (born 23 March 1996) is a Mauritian professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . Roubaix Velodrome
The Roubaix Velodrome (officially Vélodrome André-Pétrieux) is a velodrome in Roubaix, Nord, France. It was opened in 1936 and has hosted the finish of the one-day " monument classic" cycling race Paris–Roubaix since 1943, and the Paris–Roubaix Femmes since its inception in 2021. The race moved to the current stadium in 1943, and there it has stayed with the exceptions of 1986, 1987 and 1988 when the finish was in the avenue des Nations-Unies, outside the offices of La Redoute, the mail-order company which sponsored the race. The shower room inside the velodrome is distinctive for the open, three-sided, low-walled concrete stalls, each with a brass plaque to commemorate a winner. These include Peter Van Petegem, Eddy Merckx, Peter Sagan, Roger De Vlaeminck, Rik Van Looy and Fausto Coppi.
