2024 National Premier Soccer League Season
The 2024 National Premier Soccer League season is the 22nd season of the National Premier Soccer League. The regular season began on March 9 and ends on July 6. In total, 92 teams participated in this season. Format changes The Northwest Conference was dissolved, and the West Region now consists the Golden Gate Conference and the Southwest Conference. The Sunshine and Gulf Coast Conferences were combined and are now the Gulf Coast Sunshine Conference. Kansas City Sol will move from the Heartland Conference to the Gateway Conference. California Odyssey SC will move from the Southwest Conference to the Golden Gate Conference. First State FC moved from Keystone East Conference to Keystone West Conference. National Premier Soccer League
The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is an American men's association football, soccer league. The league is officially affiliated to the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) and has automatic qualification for the U.S. Open Cup. It is the successor of the Men's Premier Soccer League, a regional league originally based in the Western United States, which has now expanded nationwide to encompass teams from 29 states. The league's motto is "A National League with a Regional Focus". Competition format The National Premier Soccer League is divided into four separate regions (Northeast, South, Midwest, and West). Each region is divided into conferences with a varying number of teams per conference. The regular season runs from May to July with the exception of the West Region that has historically started in late March or early April. Tulsa Athletic
Tulsa Athletic is an American soccer team and are based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. The 2023 NPSL National Champion, 2013 was their inaugural season in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), which is a national league at the fourth tier of the American soccer pyramid. They compete in the NPSL's Heartland Conference. The team maintains amateur status under NPSL rules, allowing college players to participate without losing their collegiate eligibility. The club currently plays at Athletic Community Field at Hicks Park since the 2022 season, having previously played at Veterans Park (2018–21), LaFortune Stadium (2017) and Drillers Stadium (2013–16), the former home of the Tulsa Drillers baseball team. On May 20, 2024, Tulsa Athletic were suspended from the NPSL, meaning that they wouldn't defend their title. Sacramento Gold is an American soccer team based in Sacramento, California, United States. Founded in 2009, the team plays in National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), a national amateur league at the fourth tier of the American soccer pyramid, in the West Region, Golden Gate Conference. The team plays its home games in the stadium at Capital Christian School, where they have played since 2017. Previously, they played in the stadium at River City High School. El Farolito is an amateur soccer club based in San Francisco, California. It currently plays in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), generally considered the fourth tier of U.S. Soccer, within the Golden Gate Conference. Iowa Raptors FC are a soccer club based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. They were established in 2019 as a men's team, and formed their women's team in 2021.
