2024 MotoE World Championship
The 2024 MotoE World Championship (known officially as the 2024 FIM Enel MotoE World Championship for sponsorship reasons) is the sixth season of the MotoE World Championship for electric motorcycle racing and is part of the 76th F.I.M. Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. Teams and riders All teams use the series-specified Ducati. Team changes * HP Pons Los40 was replaced by Axxis – MSI. * Klint Forward Factory Team made its debut in the category. * Pramac Racing withdrew from the championship at the end of 2023. Their grid slot was filled by the new Aruba Cloud MotoE Racing Team. Rider changes * Lukas Tulovic returns to MotoE, replacing Randy Krummenacher at Dynavolt Intact GP MotoE. * Kevin Zannoni replaces María Herrera at Openbank Aspar Team, leaving Ongetta Sic58 Squadracorse, where he is replaced by Massimo Roccoli that returns to MotoE. Fédération Internationale De Motocyclisme
The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM; en, International Motorcycling Federation) is the global governing/sanctioning body of motorcycle racing. It represents 116 national motorcycle federations that are divided into six regional continental unions. There are seven motorcycle-racing disciplines that FIM covers, encompassing 82 world championships as well as hundreds of secondary championships: enduro, trial, circuit racing, motocross and supermoto, cross-country, e-bike, and track racing. María Herrera Muñoz (born 26 August 1996) is a Spanish motorcycle racer. Career Early career Born in Oropesa, Toledo, Herrera was the first female competitor to win a race in the FIM CEV Repsol series, winning the Moto3 race at Motorland Aragón for the Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 squad in 2013. She added a second victory later in the season at Circuito de Navarra, and led the championship into the final round at Jerez. Ultimately, Herrera retired from the final race, and finished fourth in the championship, thirteen points behind champion Fabio Quartararo. Tech3
Tech3 is a motorcycle racing team competing in the MotoGP class World Championship under the name Tech3 GasGas Factory Racing. They also compete in the Moto3 World Championship under the name Red Bull KTM Tech3 and the MotoE World Cup under the name Tech3 E-Racing. History The team was founded in 1990 by ex-racer Hervé Poncharal, engineer Guy Coulon and Bernard Martignac, and began racing in the 250 cc class using Honda and Suzuki motorcycles. In 1999, the team partnered with Yamaha for the factory team and in 2000 their riders, Olivier Jacque and Shinya Nakano, placed first and second in the 250 world championship. Aspar Team (formerly Ángel Nieto Team) is a Grand Prix motorcycle racing team from Spain, competing in the Moto2, Moto3 and MotoE World Championships. History The team was created by former world champion Jorge Martínez in 1992, when he was still riding a Honda RS125R. For 1993 Martínez expanded his operations into the 250cc class debuting with Juan Borja. For the next two seasons the Aspar team switched to Yamaha TZ125 bikes leaving the 250cc division. Sic58 Squadra Corse is an Italian motorcycle racing team founded by Paolo Simoncelli in honour of his son, Marco Simoncelli (1987–2011).
