2024 Miami Dolphins Season
The 2024 season was the Miami Dolphins' 55th in the National Football League (NFL), their 59th overall, their ninth under general manager Chris Grier and their third under head coach Mike McDaniel. The Dolphins failed to improve on their 11–6 record from last year following a loss to the division rival Buffalo Bills in Week 9. They then guaranteed a worse record following a loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 13. The Dolphins failed to make the NFL playoffs for the first time in three seasons after the Denver Broncos defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 18, extending their 23-year playoff victory drought which is the longest active drought in the NFL. The American Football Conference – Eastern Division or AFC East is one of the four divisions of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). There are currently four teams that reside in the division: the Buffalo Bills (based in Orchard Park, New York); the Miami Dolphins (based in Miami Gardens, Florida); the New England Patriots (based in Foxborough, Massachusetts); and the New York Jets (based in East Rutherford, New Jersey). 2019 Miami Dolphins Season
The 2019 season was the Miami Dolphins' 50th in the National Football League (NFL), their 54th overall and their first under new head coach Brian Flores. Early in the season, the Dolphins were believed by many people to be intentionally losing games in hopes of getting a better draft position, most notably for Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who at the time, was considered the likely first pick in the 2020 NFL Draft before suffering a season-ending hip injury on November 16, 2019. 2023 Houston Cougars Football Team
The 2023 Houston Cougars football team represented the University of Houston in the Big 12 Conference during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Patrick Paul is an American football offensive tackle for the Houston Cougars. Early life and high school Paul grew up in Houston, Texas and attended Jersey Village High School. During his freshman year of high school he grew nine inches from 5'6" to 6'3". Paul was rated a three-star recruit and committed to play college football at Houston over an offer from Tulsa. College career Paul redshirted his true freshman season with the Houston Cougars, but did start the final three games of the season. He started the first two games of his redshirt freshman season before it was ended by a foot injury.
