2024 Marshall Thundering Herd Football Team
The 2024 Marshall Thundering Herd football team will represent Marshall University in the Sun Belt Conference's East Division during the 2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Ohio Stadium is an American football stadium in Columbus, Ohio, on the campus of Ohio State University. Hattiesburg is a city in the U.S. state of Mississippi, located primarily in Forrest County (where it is the county seat and largest city) and extending west into Lamar County. Allen E. Paulson Stadium is a 25,000-seat on-campus football stadium in Statesboro, Georgia. It is home to the Georgia Southern Eagles football team and the focal point of Erk Russell Athletic Park. Appalachian State–Marshall Football Rivalry
The Appalachian State–Marshall football rivalry, known colloquially as The Old Mountain Feud, is a college rivalry between the Mountaineers of Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, and the Thundering Herd of Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. The rivalry is significant for the competitiveness of the contests, as well as its place in contemporary Appalachian culture.
