2024 LPGA Tour
The 2024 LPGA Tour is the 75th edition of the LPGA Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world. The season will begin at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, in Orlando, Florida on January 18, and will end on November 24, at the Tiburón Golf Club in the CME Group Tour Championship at Naples, Florida. The tournaments are sanctioned by the United States-based Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). Schedule and results The number in parentheses after each winners' name is the player's total number of wins in official money individual events on the LPGA Tour, including that event. Tournament and winner names in bold indicate LPGA majors. The schedule and purse amount for each tournament is listed on the LPGA website. The LPGA has a standard formula for payout percentages and distribution of its purse and prize money for every event. Ryu Hae-ran
Ryu Hae-ran (born 23 March 2001), also known as Hae Ran Ryu, is a South Korean professional golfer and LPGA Tour player. She has five wins on the LPGA of Korea Tour. Amateur career Ryu was a top amateur in Korea and won the 2018 Korean Women's Amateur. She qualified for the 2016 U.S. Women's Open, but missed the cut. She won silver with the Korean team at the World Junior Girls Championship in 2016 and 2017, and at the 2018 Asian Games. She represented Asia/Pacific in the 2018 Patsy Hankins Trophy. Professional career Ryu turned professional in mid-2019 and joined the LPGA of Korea Tour after success on the development tour. She won the 2019 Jeju Samdasoo Masters and successfully defended her title in 2020, her official rookie season, where she earned the Rookie of the Year title after earning over 628 million won, second on the money list behind only Kim Hyo-joo. HSBC Women's Champions
The HSBC Women's World Championship is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour first held in 2008. It was played on the Garden Course of the Tanah Merah Country Club in eastern Singapore, adjacent to Singapore Changi Airport from 2008 to 2012. It is now played at the Sentosa Golf Club in Sentosa (Serapong Course from 2013 to 2016, Tanjong Course since 2017). In 2008 and 2009, entrance in the tournament was open to 78 of the world's top golfers, based on world rankings, recent tour wins, and other criteria. The total purse in the first two years was US$2 million, with the winner's share at $300,000. In 2010, the field was reduced to 63 players and the purse reduced to $1.3 million. The purse increased to $1.4 million in 2011. The purse will increase from the $1.6 million in 2021, to $1.7 million in 2022. Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational
The Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour that is played in Michigan. A new event in 2019, it is held at Midland Country Club in Midland, Michigan. It is a team event, similar to the Zurich Classic of New Orleans on the PGA Tour, with alternate shot ( foursome) in the first and third rounds and better ball ( fourball) for the second and fourth rounds. The ShopRite LPGA Classic, known in full for sponsorship reasons as The ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer, is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour in Galloway, New Jersey, near Atlantic City. It took place annually from 1986 through 2006 and returned to the tour schedule in 2010 at the Bay Course at the Dolce Seaview Resort, with a prize fund of $1.75 million. It debuted in 2011 at the Wildfire Golf Club at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona. The tournament is designed as a tribute to the founders of the LPGA. The JM Eagle LA Championship is a women's professional golf tournament held in Los Angeles, California, United States as part of the LPGA Tour. A new event in 2023 LPGA Tour, 2023, it is played at Wilshire Country Club. Wilshire Country Club hosted of the DIO Implant LA Open from 2018 to 2022, an event moved to Palos Verdes GC, making the JM Eagle LA Championship the second event to be played in the Los Angeles area on the 2023 LPGA Tour. The Bank of Hope LPGA Match Play is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour in Las Vegas, Nevada. It debuted on the LPGA Tour in 2021 at the Shadow Creek Golf Course as the only match play tournament on the schedule.
