2024 Iowa Hawkeyes Football Team
The 2024 Iowa Hawkeyes football team represented the University of Iowa as a member of the Big Ten Conference during the 2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Hawkeyes were led by Kirk Ferentz in his 26th year as head coach. Iowa played their home games at Kinnick Stadium located in Iowa City, Iowa, and sold out all seven home contests for the third consecutive season. Spencer Petras (born November 18, 1999) is an American college football quarterback who most recently played for Iowa. Early life and high school career Petras was born on November 18, 1999, in San Rafael, California. He played high school football at Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield, California. Kaden Wetjen (born March 9, 2002) is an American football wide receiver and return specialist for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Early life In high school, Wetjen ran track and was a three-year football letterman as a running back, wide receiver and defensive back.
