The 2024 Inline Speed Skating World Championships was the 72st edition of the Inline Speed Skating World Championships overall and was held in Montesilvano (for the track events) and Sulmona – Pescara (for the road events) in Italy from 13 to 21 September 2024. It is held as part of the 2024 World Skate Games in Italy. Montesilvano () is a city and ''comune'' of the province of Pescara, in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Abruzzo is often called Mare-Monti (Sea-Mountain) region. The name Montesilvano is apparently derived from the Latin which means "woody hill" ("woods" – ''silva''). Geography Montesilvano is located on the Adriatic Sea immediately north of Pescara, to which it is physically connected. It is divided into Montesilvano Marina and Montesilvano Colle. Felix Rijhnen (born 9 July 1990) is a German Olympic speed skater. He finished in 13th place in the 5000 m competition at the 2022 Winter Olympics.
