The 2024 ISSF World Cup is the annual edition of the ISSF World Cup in the Olympic shooting events, governed by the International Shooting Sport Federation. ISSF World Cup
The ISSF World Cup was introduced by the International Shooting Sport Federation in 1986 to provide a homogeneous system for qualification to the Olympic shooting competitions. It still is carried out in the Olympic shooting events, with four competitions per year in each event. For the best shooters there is since 1988 a ''World Cup Final''. World Cup Final The World Cup Final in rifle and pistol is often, but not always, held in Munich as the ISSF shooting season ending competition. The location and date of the World Cup Final in shotgun are more flexible. To the Final, the following shooters are qualified: * The defending Olympic, World, ISSF World Cup Final champions. * Silver and bronze medalists of either the last Olympic or the World Championship, whichever competition that was most recently held. * The eight shooters that have made the best performances at the World Cup competitions during the year. Du Linshu (Chinese language, Chinese: 杜林澍; Pinyin: Dù Línshù; born 5 April 2003) is a Chinese Shooting sports, sports shooter. He won a gold medal in the men's ISSF 50 meter rifle three positions, 50m rifle 3 positions event at the 2023 ISSF World Cup, 2023 ISSF Bhopal World Cup. Career Du added an individual silver medal to his career at the 2023 ISSF World Shooting Championships in the men's 50m rifle prone event with a score of 625.2 points. When China hosted the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, Du demonstrated remarkable resilience under pressure and clinched the gold medal in the men's 50m rifle 3 positions event, setting a new List of Asian Games records in shooting, Asian Games record of 460.6 points. His achievements include winning individual gold medal at the European championships and individual bronze at the World championships., as well as team gold medals both in World and European championships. He holds a team world record in 50 metre rifle three positions since 2021. Biography Hegg was born in Dingle, Ireland, on 26 March 1999. 2021 Competing at the 2021 European Shooting Championships in Croatia, Hegg won a gold medal in 50 m rifle 3 positions, ahead of silver medalist Henrik Larsen. His achievements include winning team gold and bronze medals at the ISSF World Shooting Championships, and one individual victory in an ISSF World Cup event. Biography Halvorsen was born on 11 February 2000.
