2024 Green Bay Packers Season
The 2024 season is the Green Bay Packers' 104th in the National Football League (NFL), their 106th overall, their seventh under the leadership of general manager Brian Gutekunst and their sixth under head coach Matt LaFleur. This is the final full season for Mark Murphy as the team president and CEO, as he will retire in July 2025, when he turns 70 years old. This is the first season since 2012 without tackle David Bakhtiari, as he was released on March 11 and for the first time since 2016 Aaron Jones was not on the opening day roster. The Packers became the first team in NFL history to win 800 regular season games following their Week 2 victory against the Indianapolis Colts. NFC North
The National Football Conference – Northern Division or NFC North is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). Nicknamed the "Black and Blue Division" for the rough and tough rivalry games between the teams, it currently has four members: the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Minnesota Vikings. The NFC North was previously known as the NFC Central from 1970 to 2001. 2024 Chicago Bears Season
The 2024 season was the Chicago Bears' 105th in the National Football League (NFL), their third under general manager Ryan Poles, and their third and final under head coach Matt Eberflus. The Bears failed to improve on their 7–10 record from 2023 following a Week 15 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football. The team was featured during the training camp edition of the HBO show ''Hard Knocks''. Despite a 4–2 start, their best since 2020, the Bears went on to lose 10 consecutive games, tying the franchise record set in 2022, with their first being against the Washington Commanders in the Hail Maryland game. Jonathan James Owens (born July 22, 1995) is an American football safety for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Missouri Western, and signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He has also played for the Houston Texans and Green Bay Packers. He played college football at Arizona Western before transferring to South Carolina, and was signed by the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2019. Yosuah Hesdy Nijman (born January 2, 1996) is an American football offensive tackle for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Virginia Tech.
