The 2024 United States presidential election in Florida is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, as part of the 2024 United States elections in which all 50 states plus the District of Columbia will participate. Florida voters will choose electors to represent them in the Electoral College via a popular vote. Florida Amendment 4 is a proposed amendment to the Florida Constitution that will be subject to a referendum on November 5, 2024. The amendment would prevent the Florida Legislature from restricting abortion before fetal viability (generally considered to be between 23 and 24 weeks gestational age, although babies have successfully been delivered as early as 21 weeks), and nullify existing statutes such as the Heartbeat Protection Act that currently do so.
