2024 FedEx Cup Playoffs
The 2024 FedEx Cup Playoffs, the series of three golf tournaments that determined the 2024 season champion on the U.S.-based PGA Tour, were played from August 15– September 1. It included the following three events: * FedEx St. Jude Championship – TPC Southwind, Memphis, Tennessee * BMW Championship – Castle Pines Golf Club, Castle Rock, Colorado *Tour Championship – East Lake Golf Club, Atlanta, Georgia This was the 18th FedEx Cup playoffs since their inception in 2007. The 2024 PGA Tour was the 109th season of the PGA Tour, the main professional golf tour in the United States. It was also the 56th season since separating from the PGA of America, and the 18th edition of the FedEx Cup. Xander Schauffele
Alexander Victor Schauffele (; born October 25, 1993) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He won the Tour Championship in 2017 and the gold medal at the men's individual golf event of the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He has won two major championships, both in the same year, the 2024 PGA Championship and the 2024 Open Championship. Early life Schauffele was born on October 25, 1993, in San Diego, California, to Chen Ping-Yi and Stefan Schauffele. Mackenzie Hughes
Mackenzie Robert Hughes (born November 23, 1990) is a Canadian professional golfer. Early life and amateur career Hughes was born in Hamilton, Ontario. He is a graduate of Kent State University, where he played on the golf team with fellow Canadian PGA Tour pro golfers Taylor Pendrith and Corey Conners. Hughes won the 2011 and 2012 Canadian Amateur Championship. Hughes was the number one Canadian Amateur in 2011. He was a member of Team Canada's National Squad in 2008, 2011, and 2012. Kim Joo-hyung (; born 21 June 2002), commonly known as Tom Kim, is a South Korean professional golfer. He has won three times on the PGA Tour, and twice on both the Asian Tour and the Korean Tour. Nicholas Dunlap (born December 23, 2003) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He won the U.S. Junior Amateur in 2021 and the U.S. Amateur in 2023. Eric James Cole (born June 12, 1988) is an American professional golfer from Delray Beach, Florida who plays on the PGA Tour. He was awarded the 2022–23 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year and is also the son of professional golfers Bobby Cole and Laura Baugh. Early life and amateur career Cole was born in 1988, the year after his parents remarried, two years after their divorce, as one of seven siblings. With both parents being tour golfers, Cole grew up on golf courses and started playing seriously at age 11. He never had other coaches than his parents. Viktor Hovland (born 18 September 1997) is a Norwegian professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour and European Tour.
