2024 Fast5 Netball World Series
The 2024 Fast5 Netball World Series was the 12th Fast5 Netball World Series. New Zealand national netball team, New Zealand hosted Australia national netball team, Australia, England national netball team, England, Jamaica national netball team, Jamaica, South Africa national netball team, South Africa and Uganda national netball team, Uganda in a series, played in November 2024, at Christchurch's Wolfbrook Arena. The series also featured a 2024 Men's Fast5 Netball World Series, men's tournament. With a team coached by Anita Keelan and captained by Ruby Bakewell-Doran, Australia won their third successive series after defeating New Zealand 34–30 in the final. Uganda finished the series in third place after beating South Africa 46–42 in a play off. Earlier in the tournament, Uganda defeated both England and Jamaica. Teigan O'Shannassy
Teigan O’Shannassy (born 14 April 1999) is an Australian netball player in the Suncorp Super Netball league, playing for NSW Swifts. O’Shannassy was elevated to the Giants senior team ahead of the 2019 season, after having been a training partner with the extended Giants squad the previous two years. The Giants elevated O’Shannassy into the line-up despite the fact she suffered a serious Achilles injury whilst representing the New South Wales Institute of Sport at the 2018 Netball New Zealand Super Club tournament. Erin Burger
Erin Burger (born 10 February 1987) is a former South Africa netball international. Between 2007 and 2019, Burger made 120 senior appearances for South Africa. She was the first South Africa netball international to make 100 test appearances. When she retired she was the most capped South Africa netball international. She represented South Africa at the 2010, 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games and at the 2007, 2011, 2015 and 2019 Netball World Cups. Yvette McCausland-Durie
Yvette McCausland-Durie is a netball in New Zealand, New Zealand netball coach and former netball player. As a player, she played for Western Flyers during the National Bank Cup era and represented New Zealand national netball team, New Zealand at under-21 level. She was a member of the New Zealand team that won the World Youth Netball Championships, 1992 World Youth Netball Championships. Sonia Mkoloma
Sonia Mkoloma (born 17 January 1979) is an English former international netball player. Mkoloma made her international debut for the English national team in 1999, and during her career has competed at three Netball World Championships, three Commonwealth Games and two World Netball Series. In August 2009, Mkoloma played for a World 7 team, coached by Julie Fitzgerald, that defeated New Zealand 2–1 in the 2009 Taini Jamison Trophy Series. Irene Eyaru
Irene Eyaru (born 23 October 1996) is an Ugandan netball player who represents Uganda internationally and plays in the position of goal attack. She is also the current national captain of the Ugandan national netball team. Career She made her international debut representing Uganda in 2015. Lefébre Rademan (born 22 August 1996) is a South African netball player, who has represented the national team. At club level, she plays for Severn Stars in the British Netball Superleague (NSL), and has previously played for Celtic Dragons and London Pulse in the NSL, as well as Free State Crinums in the South African Netball League. Maia Wilson
Maia Wilson (born 21 September 1997) is a New Zealand netball international. She was a member of the New Zealand teams that won the 2017 Netball World Youth Cup and the 2021 Constellation Cup. She also represented New Zealand at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Wilson made her senior league debut with Central Pulse during the 2016 ANZ Championship season. Saviour Tui (born 17 October 2001) is a netball player who has represented both Samoa and New Zealand at international level. Tui was a member of three title winning teams in New Zealand's National Netball League. In 2018 and 2019, Tui won titles with Central Zone/Central Manawa.
