2024 EuroLeague Playoffs
The 2024 EuroLeague Playoffs, known as the 2024 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs for sponsorship purposes, were the second postseason portion of the 2023–24 EuroLeague basketball competition. They began on 23 April 2024 and were played through 8 May 2024. The top six finishers in the regular season qualified for the playoffs directly, while the teams placed from seventh to tenth battled for the remaining two seeds in a play-in tournament. The playoffs consist of four series of two teams each, to be played in a best-of-five format. The winners of each of the playoffs series advanced to the Final Four, which will determine the EuroLeague champion for the 2023–24 season. 2023–24 EuroLeague
The 2023–24 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague was the 24th season of the modern era of the EuroLeague, and the 14th under the title sponsorship of Turkish Airlines. Including the competition's previous incarnation as the FIBA Europe Champions Cup, this was the 67th season of the premier basketball competition for European men's clubs. For the third straight season, CSKA Moscow had their EuroLeague license rescinded following the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Additionally, due to the war in Gaza, Maccabi Tel Aviv played abroad during most of the season, principally at Aleksandar Nikolic Hall in Belgrade; all games were behind closed doors. Fernando Buesa Arena
Fernando Buesa Arena is an indoor sports arena in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. It is primarily used for basketball and is the home arena of Saski Baskonia. History The history and evolution of this sports enclosure has been closely tied to its main user, the basketball team Saski Baskonia of the League ACB. Tadas Sedekerskis (born January 17, 1998) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player and the team captain for Saski Baskonia of the Spanish Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. Professional career During his early career aged 14, Sedekerskis played for Kuršiai Neringa in the third-tier Lithuanian basketball league – RKL, averaging 10.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists per 27 minutes over 5 games in the 2012–13 season. Markus Anthony Howard (born March 3, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for Saski Baskonia of the Spanish Liga ACB and the EuroLeague.
