The 2024 Denmark Open (officially known as the Victor Denmark Open 2024 for sponsorship reasons) was a badminton tournament which took place at the Arena Fyn in Odense, Denmark, from 15 to 20 October 2024 and had a total prize of US$850,000. Tournament The 2024 Denmark Open was the thirtieth tournament according to the 2024 BWF World Tour. It was a part of the Denmark Open, which had been held since 1936. This tournament was organized by Badminton Denmark with sanction from the BWF Venue This tournament was held at the Arena Fyn in Odense, Denmark. Arena Fyn
Arena Fyn, officially known as the Jyske Bank Arena for sponsorship reasons, is a sports and concert arena in the southeastern part of the Denmark, Danish city of Odense. It has an area of and can accommodate 4,000 spectators at sporting events and 5,500 at concerts, where the floor is used. Construction The agreement about the construction of Arena Fyn was made in autumn 2005 and by March 2007 the arena was finished. The price of building was 90 million Danish kroner. Use The Scottish band Travis (band), Travis had a concert in the arena in the October 2007. It is also used for sports, including the Danish Open (tennis), Nordea Danish Open. The handball HC Odense (formerly Team Odense GOG) has played their home games in the arena. The Denmark Open has been held in Arena Fyn since 2007. BWF World Tour Super 750
The BWF World Tour is a Badminton World Federation#Grade 2, Grade 2 badminton tournament series, sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF). It is a competition open to the top world ranked players in singles (men's and women's) and doubles (men's, women's and mixed). The competition was announced on 19 March 2017 and came into effect starting from 2018 BWF World Tour schedule, 2018, replacing the BWF Super Series, which was held from 2007 to 2017. The BWF World Tour are divided into six levels, namely World Tour Finals, Super 1000, Super 750, Super 500, and Super 300 in order (part of the HSBC World Tour). One other category of tournament, the BWF Tour Super 100 level, also offers ranking points. Loh Kean Yew
Loh Kean Yew LKY (born 26 June 1997) is a Singaporean badminton player. He is the former men's singles world champion, winning the title at the 2021 BWF World Championships – Men's singles, 2021 BWF World Championships, becoming the first Singaporean to achieve this feat. Loh's success as a child in Penang state team saw him receive a scholarship from the Singapore Sports School. Angus Ng Ka Long (born 24 June 1994) is a Hong Kong badminton player. He has a career-high ranking of 6th in the men's singles discipline. Yushi Tanaka
is a Japanese badminton player and a member of the Japan national team. A graduate of Nihon University, Tanaka has represented the NTT East Badminton Team since April 2022. Kenta Nishimoto
is a Japanese badminton player. He won a silver medal in the men's singles at the 2017 Summer Universiade and a bronze medal at the 2018 Asian Games. Koki Watanabe
is a Japanese badminton player. He graduated from the Saitama Sakae High School, and was part of the BIPROGY team since 2017. Watanabe has won a Super 500 title at the Canada Open and was the runner-up in the Super 750 at the Denmark Open. Alex Lanier
Alex Lanier (born 26 January 2005) is a French badminton player. He was a gold medalist in the 2025 European Championships. He became the first ever French player to win a BWF World Tour Super 750 tournament. Anthony Sinisuka Ginting
Anthony Sinisuka Ginting (; born 20 October 1996) is an Indonesian badminton player. He first rose to senior prominence when he won the bronze medal at the 2018 Asian Games, having won a 2014 Youth Olympic bronze in 2014. Kunlavut Vitidsarn (; simply known as View (); born 11 May 2001) is a Thai badminton player who became the first Thai to become No.1 in men's singles. is a Japanese badminton player affiliated with NTT East. Born in Aomori, he started playing badminton at the age of 5 with the influence of his father.
