2024 Dallas Cowboys Season
The 2024 season was the Dallas Cowboys' 65th in the National Football League (NFL) and their fifth and final season under head coach Mike McCarthy. This was their first season since 2020 without Dan Quinn as defensive coordinator, as the Washington Commanders hired him to be their head coach. He was replaced in that role by former Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer, who returned to the Cowboys after eighteen years. The National Football Conference – Eastern Division or NFC East is one of the four divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). It currently has four members: the Dallas Cowboys (based in Arlington, Texas), New York Giants (based in East Rutherford, New Jersey), Philadelphia Eagles (based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), and the Washington Commanders (based in Landover, Maryland). Mike Zimmer
Michael Zimmer (born June 5, 1956) is an American football coach for the Colorado Buffaloes. Prior to this, Zimmer was with Jackson State, both college programs being led by Deion Sanders. He previously also served as the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL) from 2014 to 2021. Prior to joining the Vikings, Zimmer served as a defensive assistant for the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons, and Cincinnati Bengals from 1994–2013. Zimmer also won Super Bowl XXX with the Dallas Cowboys in 1996. Rico Dowdle
Rico Sharod Dowdle Jr. (born June 14, 1998) is an American football running back for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at South Carolina. Early years Dowdle attended A.C. Reynolds High School. As a senior, he was switched from running back to quarterback, leading the team to an 11-2 overall record and 6-0 in the conference. He had 247 carries for 2,545 yards and 51 rushing touchdowns. He also passed for 1,434 yards, 11 touchdowns, 4 interceptions and had a 55-yard touchdown reception. Eric-Nathan Marvin Kendricks (born February 29, 1992) is an American football middle linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). Royce Deion Freeman (born February 24, 1996) is an American football running back for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Oregon. High school career Freeman attended Imperial High School in Imperial, California, where he played running back for the Tigers high school football team.
