2024 Czech Tour
The 2024 Czech Tour was a road cycling stage race between 25 and 28 July 2024 in the Czech Republic. The race was rated as a category 2.1 event on the 2024 UCI Europe Tour calendar, and was the 15th edition of the Czech Tour. The route spanned nearly 600 kilometers between four stages, and concluded at the event's traditional finish line in the cobbled historic district of Šternberk. Teams Eight UCI WorldTeams, eight UCI ProTeams, and six UCI Continental teams participated in the race. In 2024, the Czech Tour featured the largest number UCI WorldTeams in the event's history. 148 riders began the race in Prostějov, 120 of whom completed all four stages. 2024 UCI Europe Tour
The 2024 UCI Europe Tour is the 20th season of the UCI Europe Tour. Throughout the season, points are being awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determined how many points were awarded to the top finishers, the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points were awarded. Moravská Třebová
Moravská Třebová (; german: Mährisch Trübau) is a town in Svitavy District in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 9,700 inhabitants. The historic town centre is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument reservation. Administrative parts Moravská Třebová is made up of town parts of Město and Předměstí, and villages of Boršov, Sušice and Udánky. Geography Moravská Třebová is located about east of Svitavy and north of Brno. It lies mostly in the Podorlická Uplands. Pustevny
Pustevny (1018 metres above sea level) is a mountain saddle in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids mountain range of the Czech Republic, not far from Radhošť, in the municipality of Prostřední Bečva. It was named after the Czech word for a hermit. Hermits lived here until the year 1874. For Pustevny, wooden buildings built in traditional folk style are typical. They were built and designed in the end of the 19th century by the architect Dušan Jurkovič. There is also a skiing area. Buildings Libušín and Maměnka The most famous buildings on Pustevny are Libušín and Maměnka. Both of them were built in 1898 thanks to the efforts of the touristic club Pohorská jednota Radhošť. Zlín (in 1949–1989 Gottwaldov; ; german: Zlin) is a city in the Czech Republic. It has about 73,000 inhabitants. It is the seat of the Zlín Region and it lies on the Dřevnice river. Luke Lamperti
Luke Lamperti (born December 31, 2002) is an American road cyclist who currently rides for UCI Continental team . On June 18, 2021, at the age of 18, Lamperti avoided several crashes in the final lap to take a surprise victory at the United States National Criterium Championships in Knoxville, Tennessee. In doing so, he became the youngest ever winner of the title. He competed in the under-23 road race at the 2021 UCI Road World Championships, where he originally finished 10th, but was disqualified afterwards by the UCI jury due to allegedly causing a Belgian rider to crash earlier in the race.
