The 2024 Credit One NASCAR Amex Credit Card 300 was the 31st stock car race of the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series, the fifth race of the Playoffs, the second race of the Round of 8, and the 31st iteration of the event. The race was held on October 26, 2024, at Homestead–Miami Speedway in Homestead, Florida, a 1.5 miles (2.4 km) permanent oval shaped intermediate speedway. The race took the scheduled 200 laps to complete. In an action-packed race, Austin Hill, driving for Richard Childress Racing, would pass Cole Custer for the lead in the final stages, and went on to have a dominating performance, leading a race-high 82 laps and winning both stages to earn his 10th career NASCAR Xfinity Series win, and his fourth of the season. With his win, he would also clinch a spot in the Championship 4. NASCAR Xfinity Series At Homestead–Miami
Stock car racing events in the NASCAR Xfinity Series has been held at the Homestead–Miami Speedway since the track's inauguration in 1995. For much of its history, it was the final race of the second-tier series' season. The event is currently named Hard Rock Bet 300 for sponsorship reasons; with exception of one-off emergency races in 2020 and a one-off change in 2021, the race has been held as a 300-mile race. Justin Allgaier is the defending winner. Race history The race at Homestead was added to the then-Busch Series calendar in 1995, and was immediately positioned as the final event of the series' season. Through the 2001 season, the Busch Series was the only one of NASCAR's three major series to end its season at the track. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series began racing at the track in 1996 with an early season date, while the NASCAR Cup Series placed the series on its 1999 schedule and gave it the penultimate race date on its schedule.
