The 2024 season was the 110th season in the existence of Clube Atlético Mineiro and the 18th consecutive season in the top flight of Brazilian football. The Clube Atlético Mineiro (), commonly known as Atlético Mineiro and colloquially as the Galo (, "Rooster"), is a professional association football club in Belo Horizonte, the capital city of the States of Brazil, Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, Minas Gerais. Eduardo Jesús Vargas Rojas (; born 20 November 1989) is a Chilean professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football), forward for Uruguayan club Club Nacional de Football, Nacional and the Chile national football team, Chile national team. Deyverson Brum Silva (born 8 May 1991), simply known as Deyverson, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Fortaleza. Club career Early career Born in Santa Margarida, a neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro, Deyverson began his career with lowly local side Grêmio Mangaratibense in 2011. Gustavo Henrique Furtado Scarpa (born 5 January 1994) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Atlético Mineiro. Club career Fluminense Scarpa was born in Hortolândia, São Paulo, and played for Guarani, Santos, Paulínia and Desportivo Brasil, before joining Fluminense in 2012.
