2024 Bulgarian Supercup
The 2024 Bulgarian Supercup was the 21st edition of the Bulgarian Supercup, an annual football match played between the winners of the previous season's First League and the Bulgarian Cup. The game has been played between the champions of the 2023–24 First League, Ludogorets Razgrad, and the 2023–24 Bulgarian Cup winner, Botev Plovdiv. This was Ludogorets's 12th Supercup appearance and Botev's third. Both teams already competed against each other for the 2014 and 2017 Supercup finals with both teams exchanging one victory. Initially supposed to be played in July 2024, the game has been rescheduled due to the participation of both teams in European competition. On 20 November 2024 the Bulgarian Professional Football League announced that the game has been scheduled for 4 February 2025. Ludogorets won the match 3–2 for their 8th Supercup title. Professional Football Club Ludogorets 1945 (), commonly known as Ludogorets Razgrad or simply Ludogorets, is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Razgrad, which currently competes in the First Professional Football League (Bulgaria), First Professional Football League, the top tier of the Bulgarian football league system. In their 2011–12 A Group, inaugural 2011–12 season in A Group after promotion, Ludogorets won the Double (association football), double by capturing the league championship and the Bulgarian Cup. Jakub Piotrowski (born 4 October 1997) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Bulgarian club Ludogorets Razgrad and the Poland national team. Deroy D'Encarnação Duarte (born 4 July 1999) is a professional football player who plays as a midfielder for Bulgarian First League club Ludogorets Razgrad. Born in the Netherlands, he represents the Cape Verde national team. Club career Sparta Rotterdam Duarte played youth football for Sparta Rotterdam. As the Tweede Divisie was reintroduced, he began playing regularly for Jong Sparta Rotterdam who had joined the Dutch football league system. Sergio Vincenzo Roberto Padt (born 6 June 1990) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Bulgarian First League club Ludogorets Razgrad. Padt previously played on loan from AFC Ajax for HFC Haarlem in the Eerste Divisie, and later for Go Ahead Eagles and in the Belgian Pro League for Gent.
