The 2024 Arlington Renegades season was the third season for the Arlington Renegades as a professional American football franchise and their first as part of the United Football League. The Renegades played their home games at the Choctaw Stadium and was led by head coach Bob Stoops. Previous season The Renegades finished the regular season with a record of 4–6. They would earn their first playoff berth, where the Renegades would upset the South Division regular season division champions Houston Roughnecks. With the win, the Renegades would advance to the XFL Championship Game where they play the DC Defenders, winning by a score of 35–26 to achieve their first ever XFL Championship. The 2023 Arlington Renegades season is the second season for the Arlington Renegades as a professional American football franchise. They are charter members of the XFL, one of eight teams to compete in the league for the 2023 season. The Renegades play their home games at the Choctaw Stadium and are led by head coach Bob Stoops. The Renegades had changed their franchise name from Dallas Renegades to Arlington Renegades prior to the 2023 season. Earning their first playoff berth, the Renegades eliminated the South Division regular season division champions Houston Roughnecks. The 2024 DC Defenders season was the third season for the DC Defenders as a professional American football franchise (sports), franchise and their first as a member of the United Football League (2024), United Football League (UFL). The Defenders played their home games at Audi Field and were led by head coach Reggie Barlow. Following an upset loss to the 2023 Arlington Renegades season, Arlington Renegades in the 2023 XFL Championship, the franchise looked to return the playoffs. However, the team would be troubled with injuries to key players and poor defensive play. This resulted in the team going on a poor 3–3 start by Week 6 in which they would never recover. Brock Anthony Huard (born April 15, 1976) is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Washington Huskies. Huard's older brother Damon also played quarterback at the University of Washington and had a career in the NFL, while his younger brother Luke played at North Carolina then pursued a coaching Early life Huard graduated from Puyallup High School in Puyallup, Washington, where his father Mike was head coach. Joel Klatt (born February 4, 1982) is an American college football color commentator and analyst for Fox Sports. Klatt played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes. He was the first three-year starter at quarterback for Colorado since Kordell Stewart. He also played in Minor League Baseball for two seasons. Early life Klatt was born in Arvada, Colorado. He was coached by his father, Gary, the head coach at Pomona High School in Arvada, Colorado. Curt Menefee (born July 22, 1965) is an American broadcaster who hosts the Fox Network's NFL pregame show ''Fox NFL Sunday''. He is also the co-anchor of '' Good Day New York'' on Fox's New York City flagship station, WNYW. Early life and education Menefee was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Menefee earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. At Coe, he was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity and inducted into the Sigma Nu Hall of Fame in 2016. The Alamodome is a 64,000-seat domed indoor multi-purpose stadium in San Antonio, Texas. It is located on the southeastern fringe of downtown San Antonio. The facility opened on May 15, 1993, having been constructed at a cost of $186 million.
