The 2024 Archery World Cup, also known as the Hyundai Archery World Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 18th edition of the international archery circuit organised annually by World Archery. Archery World Cup
The Archery World Cup is a competition organized by World Archery, where the archers compete in four stages in four countries and the best eight archers of each category (from 2010, four archers during 2006–09) advance to an additional stage to contest the Archery World Cup Final. World Archery Federation
World Archery (WA, formerly ''Fédération Internationale de Tir à l'Arc'' (FITA)) is the governing body of the sport of archery. It is based in Lausanne, Switzerland. It is composed of 156 national federations and other archery associations, and is recognised by the International Olympic Committee. History FITA was founded on 4 September 1931 in Lwow, Poland (today Lviv, Ukraine). Its seven founding member states were France, Czechoslovakia, Sweden, Poland, the United States, Hungary, and Italy. Lim Si-hyeon
Lim Si-hyeon (; born 13 June 2003) is a South Korean archer. She won three gold medals at the 2024 Summer Olympics in the individual, team and mixed team events. By virtue of winning all three gold medals in the same Olympic Games, Lim became the second person to do so, matching her compatriot, An San, at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She also set the world & Olympic records in the preliminary round of the women's individual event, scoring 694 out of a maximum of 720, thereby surpassing fellow South Korean Kang Chae-young's 692 and An San's 680, respectively. Dhiraj Bommadevara
Dhiraj Bommadevara (born 4 September 2001) is an Indian recurve archer. He finished fourth in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Bommadevara is a gold, silver, and multiple bronze medalist at the World Cup. He also won a silver medal at the Asian Games and a gold medal at the World Youth Championships. Personal life Dhiraj is from Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. His father Bommadevara Shravan Kumar used to be a technical official of the Archery Association of India. He studied for a degree at the SRR and CVR Government Degree College, Vijayawada. Kim Je-deok (; born 12 April 2004) is a South Korean archer. He is a three-time Olympic gold medalist, winning in the mixed team and men's team events at the 2020 Summer Olympics as well as the men's team events at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
