2024 AlUla Tour
The 2024 AlUla Tour was a road cycling stage race that took place between 30 January and 3 February 2024 in Saudi Arabia. The race was rated as a category 2.1 event on the 2024 UCI Asia Tour calendar and was the eighth edition of the Saudi Tour. Teams Eighteen teams entered the race, which included nine UCI WorldTeams, five UCI ProTeams, three UCI Continental teams and the Saudi Arabian National Team. All teams entered a full squad of seven riders, with the exception of , who only entered five. In total, 111 riders started the race. 2024 UCI Asia Tour
The 2024 UCI Asia Tour was the 20th season of the UCI Asia Tour. The season began on 22 October 2023 with the Hong Kong Cyclothon in Hong Kong and ended on 14 October 2024. The points leader, based on the cumulative results of previous races, wore the UCI Asia Tour cycling jersey. Throughout the season, points were awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determined how many points were awarded to the top finishers, the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points were awarded. HEGRA, which stands for High-Energy-Gamma-Ray Astronomy, was an atmospheric Cherenkov telescope for Gamma-ray astronomy. With its various types of detectors, HEGRA took data between 1987 and 2002, at which point it was dismantled in order to build its successor, MAGIC, at the same site.
