2024 ASEAN Championship Final
The 2024 ASEAN Championship final was the final of the 2024 ASEAN Championship (previously AFF Championship), the 15th edition of the top-level Southeast Asia association football, football tournament organised by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). The final was contested in two-legged home-and-away format between Vietnam national football team, Vietnam and Thailand national football team, Thailand. The first leg was hosted by Vietnam at the Việt Trì Stadium in Phú Thọ on 2 January 2025, while the second leg was hosted by Thailand at the Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok on 5 January 2025. Vietnam secured their third title after defeating the two-time defending champions Thailand by a 5–3 aggregate score in the two-legged final. The 2024 ASEAN Championship (officially the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2024 due to sponsorship reasons) was the 15th edition of the ASEAN Championship (formerly the AFF Championship) association football, football tournament of nations affiliated to the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). 2018 AFF Championship
The 2018 AFF Championship was the 12th edition of the AFF Championship, the Association football, football championship of nations affiliated to the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF), and the 6th under the name AFF Suzuki Cup. 2002 AFF Championship
The 2002 AFF Championship, officially known as the 2002 Tiger Cup, was co-hosted by Indonesia and Singapore from 15 to 29 December 2002 and participated by all national teams of the member associations of the ASEAN Football Federation entered except for Brunei. The championship started off with group matches, where the top two teams from each group advanced to the semi-finals and the final. In the final match between Thailand and Indonesia, Thailand took a 2–0 lead against hosts Indonesia by the end of the first half. However, the Indonesians battled back to level the score and force the game into a penalty shootout, which was won 4–2 by the Thais. The 2000 AFF Championship, officially known as the 2000 Tiger Cup, was the third edition of the AFF Championship and was held in Thailand from 5 to 18 November 2000. The 2012 AFF Championship, sponsored by Suzuki and officially known as the 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup, was the 9th edition of the AFF Championship, the football championship of Southeast Asia. The 2007 AFF Championship (officially designated as the ASEAN Football Championship 2007) was the 6th edition of the AFF Championship, the Association football, football championship of Southeast Asia. The group stage was co-hosted by Singapore and Thailand from 12 to 17 January. Knockout stage with two-leg Home-and-away format was hosted from 23 January to 4 February 2007.
