2023–24 V.League 2
The 2023–24 V.League 2, known as the Gold Star V.League 2 () for sponsorship reasons, was the 30th season of V. League 2, Vietnam's second tier professional football league. The season began on 21 October 2023 and ended on 29 June 2024. This season will be the first since the 2001–02 V-League 2, 2001-02 season to have an inter-year schedule (autumn-to-spring) instead of an intra-year schedule (spring-to-autumn). There will also be a break from 25 December 2023 to 10 February 2024 for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup and from 7 April 2024 to 3 May 2024 for the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup. Like the previous season, teams won't be allowed to register any foreign players, but will be allotted a non-naturalized Vietnamese player slot. SHB Đà Nẵng Football Club (), simply known as SHB Đà Nẵng, is a Vietnamese professional football club based in Da Nang that plays in V.League 1, the top tier in Vietnamese football, . The club was formerly known as Quang Nam-Da Nang () and won a Vietnamese National League title in 1992. In the 2007–08 season, the club was purshased by the Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB), the club name was changed to SHB Da Nang. The club won its first title in 2009, emerging as 2009 V-League champions and qualifying for the 2010 AFC Champions League. In the same year, they were also champions of the Vietnamese Cup. Quảng Nam Football Club (), simply known as Quảng Nam, is a professional football club, based in Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province, Vietnam country. They are now playing in V.League 1. The team is currently playing at Tam Ky stadium. History Quảng Nam Football Club was founded from the Công nhân Quảng Nam - Đà Nẵng football team. After the separation of the provinces in 1997, the Quảng Nam football team was established separately. Đồng Nai Stadium () is a multi-use stadium located in Biên Hòa City, Đồng Nai Province, Vietnam. The stadium holds 30,000 people and mostly used for football (soccer), football matches. Hoa Binh Football Club () is a Vietnamese professional football club based in Hoa Binh, Vietnam that competes in the V.League 2.
