The 2023–24 season was the 59th season in the history of SC Cambuur and their first season back in the Eerste Divisie after a two-year absence. SC Cambuur, also known as Cambuur Leeuwarden, or simply Cambuur, () is a Dutch professional Association football, football club from the city of Leeuwarden formed on 19 June 1964. They currently play in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football league system, Dutch football, following relegation from the Eredivisie in the 2022–23 Eredivisie, 2022–23 season. Daniël van Kaam (born 23 June 2000) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Heracles Almelo. Club career Groningen Van Kaam is a product of FC Groningen's youth academy, and signed his first professional contract on 26 June 2017. Thomas Poll (born 28 August 2001) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays for as a left-back for club Cambuur. Career Groningen Born in Amsterdam, Poll moved with his family to Wehe-den Hoorn, Province of Groningen when he was 8 years old. Daan Reiziger (born 18 June 2001) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Cambuur. Marco Tol (born 25 April 1998) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Portuguese club Vizela.
