2023–24 NCDC Season
The 2023–24 NCDC season was the 7th season of the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) Division of the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL). The regular season ran from September 2023 to March 2024 with a slightly unbalanced schedule. The P.A.L. Jr. Islanders won the regular season championship. The South Shore Kings defeated the Ogden Mustangs 2 games to 1 to capture the Dineen Cup. Member changes * On June 30, 2022, the USPHL announced that they would be transferring the entire Mountain Division of their Tier III league (Premier) to the NCDC for this season. Originally the Idaho Falls Spud Kings, Northern Colorado Eagles, Ogden Mustangs, Provo Predators, Pueblo Bulls and Utah Outliers were to be added. United States Premier Hockey League
The United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) is an American ice hockey league. Founded in 2012, the USPHL has grown to over 60 organizations from across the United States/Canada fielding teams in the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC), Premier, Elite, EHF, 18U, 16U, 15U, and High Performance youth divisions. From 2013 to 2017, USA Hockey sanctioned the Premier, Elite, Empire, Midwest, and USP3 Divisions as Junior ice hockey#Tier III, Tier III junior leagues. In 2017, the USPHL added a higher level junior league named the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) for the 2017–18 season. The NCDC was seeking free-to-play Junior ice hockey#Tier II, Tier II junior league sanctioning, but was denied by USA Hockey. Ogden Mustangs
The Ogden Mustangs are a junior ice hockey team based in Ogden, Utah. The Mustangs are members of the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) and play their home games at The Ice Sheet at Ogden. Before joining the USPHL in 2020, the Mustangs and its predecessors were longtime members of the Western States Hockey League (WSHL). Prior to purchasing the team, Lori Miller acted as the director of youth hockey for Kern County hockey clubs for nine years. Northern Cyclones
The Northern Cyclones are a junior ice hockey organization competing in the United States Premier Hockey League. The team plays its home games at the Cyclones Arena, located in Hudson, New Hampshire. The Cyclones organization also fields junior-level developmental teams in the USPHL's Premier and Elite Division (and formerly in the Metropolitan Junior Hockey League and Eastern Hockey League-Elite Division) and youth hockey select teams at the Midget U18, Midget 16U, Bantam, Peewee, and Squirt and other various levels as well as the Lady Cyclones U12, U16, and U18 teams. The Boston Junior Bruins are an American junior ice hockey organization playing in Marlborough, Massachusetts. They currently field three junior and a number of youth teams in the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL). History The Boston Junior Bruins were founded in 1991 as an independent junior team. The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights are a junior ice hockey organization from Pittston, Pennsylvania. In 2015, the Knights' junior hockey organization purchased the dormant Dawson Creek Rage franchise in the Tier II North American Hockey League (NAHL) and placed their Tier III franchise in the Eastern Hockey League into dormancy.
