2023–24 Mongolian Premier League
The 2023–24 Mongolian National Premier League is the 56th season of the Mongolian Premier League, Mongolian National Premier League, the highest association football, football league in the country. Erchim FC were the defending champions. The league was known this season as the Mobi Premier League for sponsorship reasons. FC Ulaanbaatar were the eventual champions, winning their second title in club history. Ulaanbaatar City FC withdrew from the league without playing their final three matches. The club's match results were annulled. Khovd FC's Batkhyag Munkh-Erdene was the league's top scorer with 38 goals. Changes before the season BCH Lions should have been relegated from Mongolian Premier League, 2021–22 Mongolian National Premier League but remained in the league after Athletic 220 withdrew. 2023–24 AFC Cup
The 2023–24 AFC Cup was the 20th edition of the AFC Cup, Asia's secondary club football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and the final edition under the AFC Cup title, as the competition was revamped under the name ''AFC Champions League Two'' starting in 2024–25. This was the first AFC Cup season to have a two-year (autumn-to-spring) schedule, unlike the previous all-year-round (spring-to-autumn) schedule. As the title holders, Al-Seeb qualified for the 2023–24 AFC Champions League playoff stage. So they were unable to defend their title. Central Coast Mariners won the competition for the first time, defeating Al Ahed 1–0 in the final. Deren FC
Deren FC is a professional football club based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The club was founded in 2008 and currently plays in the Mongolian Premier League, making their debut appearance in the 2015 season. The club was originally established as a youth academy. The decision to participate in the professional competition of the higher leagues was made to provide the youth players with the opportunity to play at the highest national level as seniors and to have a chance to represent the Mongolian national team. This local focus has been maintained to this day and has earned the club the reputation of being "The Nationals' Team" ("Монголын баг"). Tuv Azarganuud Football Club (, ) is a Mongolian professional association football, football club from Töv Province that currently competes in the Mongolian Premier League. History The club was founded as Tuv Buganuud FC in 2018 with the support of the local government of Töv Province. It was promoted to the Mongolia Premier League for the first time for the 2021–22 Mongolian National Premier League, 2021–22. Bayasgalangiin Garidmagnai (; born 17 September 1985 in Ulaanbaatar) is a retired Mongolian footballer and current manager of the Mongolia national team. International career Garidmagnai made his senior international debut on 22 February 2003 in a 2003 East Asian Football Championship match again Macau. Khovd (city)
Khovd ( ), formerly spelt Kobdo, is the capital of the Khovd Province in western Mongolia. It is the administrative seat of the Jargalant District. Geography and climate Khovd is situated at the foot of the Altay Mountains, and is bisected by the Buyant River.
