2023–24 Bulgarian Cup
The 2023–24 Bulgarian Cup was the 42nd official edition of the Bulgarian annual football knockout tournament. It was sponsored by ''Sesame'' and known as the Sesame Kupa na Bulgaria for sponsorship purposes. The competition began on 9 August 2023 with the preliminary round and finished with the final on 15 May 2024. Ludogorets Razgrad were the defending cup winners and reached the final for the second consecutive year, but were defeated by Botev Plovdiv, who won their fourth cup in history. As winners, Botev qualified for the 2024–25 UEFA Europa League first qualifying round. SFC Etar Veliko Tarnovo
Etar () is a Bulgarian sports football club based in Veliko Tarnovo, that plays in the Bulgarian Second League, the second level of Bulgarian football. Etar was established in 2013, shortly after the folding of Etar 1924, which was dissolved for financial reasons after the 2012–13 season. Etar 1924, on the other hand, was established as a result of the dissolution of the historical FC Etar (Veliko Tarnovo). Although the three clubs share similar names and colors, the Bulgarian Football Union considers them separate entities and records are not shared between the three. The current Etar quickly ascended from the amateur leagues, eventually promoting to the Bulgarian First League at the end of the 2016–17 season. FC Chernomorets 1919 () is a Bulgarian football club from the city of Burgas, which currently competes in the Southeast Third League, third level of Bulgarian football. Chernomorets plays its home matches at the local Stadion Lazur temporary, until they complete the construction of their planned 5,000 seats Ivan Pritargov Stadium. The club was founded in 2015, following the financial struggles of the former Burgas-based team, PSFC Chernomorets Burgas. Unlike PSFC Chernomorets, however, Chernomorets 1919 is considered to be the official reincarnation of the original club, founded in 1919. FC Chernomorets Balchik
Chernomorets () is a Bulgarian football club based in Balchik, that competes in the North-East Third League, the 3rd tier of Bulgarian football. The team plays its home games at the local Balchik Stadium with 2,618 seats. History Chernomorets were founded as Sport Club Strela in late 1918 by English and Italian soldiers after World War I. The team finally became known as Chernomorets in 1957. In its history, Chernomorets has played mainly in the Bulgarian amateur divisions. Until the 1976/77 season, the team participated at most in the third Bulgarian division but gained promotion to the B Group for the 1977/78 season. OFC Belasitsa () is a Bulgarian football club from the town of Petrich, currently playing in the Second League. The team was founded in 1923. They play at the Stadion Tsar Samuil in Petrich, which has a capacity of 9,500. The club last played in the first tier of Bulgarian football during the 2008-09 season. History Founding and early years Belasitsa Petrich was founded in 1923 as FC Manush Voivoda. OFC Bdin Vidin
OFC Bdin () is a Bulgarian football club based in Vidin, currently (season 2023–2024) playing in the Second Professional League, the second level of Bulgarian football. Its home stadium "Georgi Benkovski" has a capacity of 15 000 seats. The club color is blue shirts and shorts. History The club was officially founded in 1923. In 1946, Bdin reached the Bulgarian Republic Football Championship semi-finals, eliminating Botev Plovdiv and Hadzhi Slavchev Pavlikeni along the way. Bdin also qualified to play in the A PFG in 1948–49 season, the first season of the newly established first tier of Bulgarian football. Bdin could not survive and was relegated, however. PFC Slavia Sofia 1913 () is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Sofia, which currently competes in the top tier of the Bulgarian football league system, the First Professional Football League, First League. Football club Pirin (), also known as Pirin Blagoevgrad is a Bulgarian football club based in Blagoevgrad, which currently competes in the Second League, the second division of Bulgarian football.
