Armenian First League
The Armenian First League () is currently the second level association football, football competition in Armenia after the Armenian Premier League. The competition exists mostly out of reserve teams of several Premier League clubs; however, other teams also participate. FC Alashkert
Football Club Alashkert (), commonly known as Alashkert, is an Armenian football club based in the capital Yerevan, founded in 1990 in Martuni and after folding in 2000 re-founded in 2011. They currently play in the Armenian Premier League. The home stadium of the team is the Alashkert Stadium in Yerevan. The club headquarters are located on Saryan street 25, Yerevan. Although based in Yerevan they are in fact named after the historic town of Alashkert in the Western Armenia, now Eleşkirt. Alashkert have won the Armenian Premier League title on four occasions and the Armenian Cup once. The club has also won the Armenian Supercup three times. They are owned by Bagrat Navoyan, a businessman and founder of Bagretour LLC, and have a cooperation agreement with the Brazilian club Botafogo since August 2017. Gandzasar Stadium
Gandzasar Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Kapan, the capital of Syunik Province, Armenia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Gandzasar and Syunik. With a capacity of 3,500, Gandzasar Stadium is located at the centre of the town of Kapan, on the left bank of Voghji River, between Aram Manukian and Hovhannes Tumanyan streets. Kapan town hall is located at the eastern edge of the stadium Overview The stadium was opened during the Soviet period in 1963 as Lernagorts Stadium, being home to Lernagorts Kapan. It remained under the ownership of the town council until 2004, when it was privatized and sold to the Gandzasar Sprts Centre LLC owned by Gagik Ohanjanyan. By the end of 2008, the stadium went under a major renovation. The playing pitch was modernized and new seats were installed. Kapan
Kapan ( ) is a town in southeast Armenia, serving as the administrative centre of the Kapan Municipality and also as the provincial capital of Syunik Province. It is located in the valley of the Voghji (river), Voghji River and is on the northern slopes of Khustup, Mount Khustup. Kapan is the most populous town in the Syunik Province as well as the entire region of southern Armenia. Dzoraghbyur Training Centre
Dzoraghbyur Training Centre, is the training ground and academy base of the Armenian football club FC Ararat Yerevan. Overview Dzoraghbyur Training Centre was opened in 2007 on the grounds of the former Dzoraghbyur Sports Complex in the Dzoraghbyur village of Kotayk Province, 12 km east of the capital Yerevan. The complex was acquired by FC Ararat Yerevan earlier in 2003. In 2004, a large-scale rehabilitation and modernization process was launched. US$2 million was allocated by the club for the reconstruction works. The first phase of the training centre was completed in 2007. Officially, the Technical Center-Academy of the Football Federation of Armenia (), commonly known as the Yerevan Football Academy or Avan Football Academy, is a modern football training school located in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. The purpose of the centre is to be the base for all coaching and development work undertaken by the Football Federation of Armenia, and the training and preparation ground for all of the Armenia national football teams.
