2023 Vtuber Awards
The Vtuber Awards, also styled as The VTuber Awards, are awards presented to the best in the VTuber industry organized by OTK-owned talent management company Mythic Talent. The first ceremony was held in 2023. Process Users are given an option to submit nominations, and afterwards they are given an option to choose one nominee for each category. History 2023 The first edition was held on December 16, 2023 at the WePlay Esports Arena in Los Angeles, California. It was hosted by Filian in a room normally for esports and broadcast on her Twitch channel. Mythic Talent, Filian's agency, was the producer of the ceremony. Real-time motion capture software or technology are often—but not always—used to capture movement. The digital trend originated in Japan in the mid-2010s, and has become an international online phenomenon in the 2020s. is a virtual YouTuber and singer affiliated with Cover Corporation's Hololive Production agency, who first debuted in September 2020 as a member of the Hololive English Myth unit. Overview Mori Calliope's fictional lore describes her as the "Grim Reaper's first apprentice" who, due to slow business, had to start a career as a VTuber and collect souls. Isegye Idol (; Different world idol, ) is a virtual idol group in Korea. It was formed on August 26, 2021, with members selected through an audition organized by the live streamer Woowakgood. Afterwards, they debuted on December 17, 2021 with their first single "Re : Wind" The members of Isegye Idol are real people who perform using virtual avatars. They contribute their voices and personalities, utilizing technologies such as motion capture to translate their physical movements into the actions of their digital characters.
