2023 Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour
The 2023 Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour is the second edition of the global elite professional beach volleyball circuit organized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) for the 2023 beach volleyball season. Since March 2022, the Tour comprises three tiers: Future, Challenge and Elite 16. The season ends with The Finals featuring the 10 best teams in the world. The Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour was established by FIVB in October 2021, thus it replaced the former FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour. Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour
The FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour (known between 2003 and 2012 as the FIVB Beach Volleyball Swatch World Tour for sponsorship reasons) was the worldwide professional beach volleyball tour for both men and women organized by the ' ( FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The World Tour was introduced 1989 for men and in 1992 for women being held yearly since then until 2021. Several tournaments were staged throughout the year. All athletes who competed in the qualifying and main draws of the tournaments earned points in the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Rankings, and after the last stage the pair that accumulated the most points during the year was declared the champion of the World Tour (only points from 75% of the tournaments in the season were considered for the ranking). David McKienzie
David McKienzie (born July 5, 1979) is a Filipino American volleyball player. He was a 3 time All-American while playing for California State University, Long Beach (more commonly known as Long Beach State). He played for the United States national team at the 2012 Summer Olympics. David's father, William Mckienzie, was a member of the USA national team in the late 60's and an alternate for the 1968 Olympics. David's mother, Elvira Mckienzie, was a national team player for the Philippines in both volleyball and Basketball. David's sister, Joy Mckienzie, was an NCAA Division 1 champion in 1993 at Long Beach State and an All-American. Wu Jiaxin ( zh, s=吴佳欣, p=Wú Jiāxīn; born February 28, 1997) is a Chinese competitive archer. She has won a career total of two medals, a silver and a bronze, on her international archery debut at the 2013 World Youth Championships in Wuxi, and eventually finished as a quarter-finalist in the individual recurve tournament at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
