2023 Upper Austria Ladies Linz
The 2023 Upper Austria Ladies Linz was a professional women's tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was the 32nd edition of the tournament, and part of the WTA 250 series of the 2023 WTA Tour. It was held at the Design Center Linz in Linz, Austria, from 6 to 12 February 2023. Due to scheduling issues, the October 2022 edition was delayed to February 2023 in order to attract top WTA players to compete in the tournament. Champions Singles * Anastasia Potapova def. WTA 250 is a category of tennis tournaments in the Women's Tennis Association tour, implemented since the reorganization of the schedule in 2021. Earlier these events were classified as WTA International tournaments, WTA International Tournaments. At their introduction in 2021, WTA 250 tournaments' prize money was approximately $250,000. As of 2025 WTA Tour, 2025 season, this has risen to $275,094. The ranking points awarded to the winners of these tournaments are 250. This compares to 2,000 points for winning a Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam tournament ("Major"), up to 1,500 points for winning the WTA Finals, 1000 points for winning a WTA 1000 tournament, and 500 for winning a WTA 500 tournament. Donna Vekić (; born 28 June 1996) is a Croatian professional tennis player. She achieved a career-high singles WTA rankings, ranking of world No. 17 on 27 January 2025.
