2023 US Darts Masters
The 2023 bet365 US Darts Masters was the fifth staging of the tournament by the Professional Darts Corporation and the third entry in the 2023 World Series of Darts. The tournament featured 16 players (eight top-ranking players and eight regional qualifiers), and was held at the The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, United States on 2–3 June 2023. Michael Smith was the defending champion, after he defeated Michael van Gerwen 8–4 in the 2022 final, but he was eliminated in round 1, losing 2–6 to debutant Jim Long. Van Gerwen went on to win the tournament for a second time, beating Jeff Smith 8–0 in the final. The Theater At Madison Square Garden
The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden is a theater located in New York City's Madison Square Garden. Luke Humphries (born 11 February 1995) is an English professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He won the 2019 PDC World Youth Championship. Career Humphries won five PDC Development Tour titles in 2017, finishing top of the Development Tour Order of Merit. As a result of this, he qualified for the 2018 PDC World Darts Championship where he lost to Jeff Smith, and received a PDC Tour Card for the 2018 and 2019 season. 2019 He also won the Development Tour Order of Merit in 2019, a year which culminated in a fantastic run at the 2019 World Championship for Humphries. Nathan Aspinall (born 15 July 1991) is an English professional darts player currently playing in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Peter Wright (born 10 March 1970) is a Scottish professional darts player who plays in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), where he is currently ranked No. 2 in the world. Nicknamed "Snakebite", he is regarded as one of the greatest players of all time and is a two-time world champion, having won the PDC World Darts Championship in 2020 and 2022.
