2023 Thessaloniki Municipal Election
The 2023 Thessaloniki Municipal election was held on 8 October 2023 to elect List of mayors of Thessaloniki, the mayor of Thessaloniki and its city council, as part of the 2023 Greek local elections, 2023 Greek Local elections. It moved to a second round run-off that took place a week later, on 15 October, between incumbent Konstantinos Zervas backed by New Democracy (Greece), ND and Independent politician, Independent candidate Stelios Angeloudis. In the second round, Stelios Angeloudis won with almost 67% of the vote, defeating the incumbent Kostantinos Zervas, with almost 30 points ahead, electing 6+20 councilors. Niki (Greek Political Party)
The Democratic Patriotic Popular Movement "Niki" (), often shortened to simply Niki (Victory), is a far-right political party in Greece. It was founded by educator Dimitris Natsios in 2019. A majority bonus system (MBS, also called a minority-friendly majoritarian system) is a mixed-member, partly-proportional electoral system that gives extra seats in a legislature to the party with a plurality or majority of seats. Typically, this is done with the aim of providing government stability, particularly in parliamentary systems. Communist Party Of Greece
The Communist Party of Greece (, ΚΚΕ; ''Kommounistikó Kómma Elládas'', KKE) is a Marxist–Leninist political party in Greece.
